Hi All,

Anyone have any info on the Melvilles and their apple orchards - i have found about 10 pages online talking about them.. creating the first roads, planting apples, grabbing bears tails, collecting fruit and sheltering together in fear of the Blackhawks.  My mother told me the Melvilles married some local indians and we have some Chippewa blood in us which is interesting.. apparently Judy Gillies wrote a book on this - not sure if the stuff i downloaded is part of her book or not... however any information who be awesome!! Many thanks from here in Brazil.  Cheers Fionn MacHugh.

Hi Fionn,  apologies for the late reply.  I can scan from that issue for you if you tell me what article you are interested in and give me an email address.   Kris M
