Time: 7:00 PM
Place:  ICHC

Speaker: Thomas G. Cannon

John O'Donovan, ordnance surveyor of Co. Donegal, c. 1830s, collected family histories of the McSweeney and O'Doherty families, with the goal of finding descendents then alive to the chieftains of the 1640s and earlier.  He attempted to bridge the record gap of the 1700s.
