John Angelos will speak about the life and times of James Joyce.
John Angelos is a retired teacher who has taught high school, university and continuing education courses in literature and has lectured for the Milwaukee Shakespeare Company. Most recently he conducted a short course on James Joyce's Dubliners for the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute and will be conducting a course on Joyce's Ulysses for the Institute this spring. For more than 30 years Angelos has also been a collector and dealer of fine books and literature, art, photography and magazines related to the Modernist Period.
